Bracket tournaments are easier to manage and quicker. Wrestlers are guaranted only two matches unless they keep advancing.
Pool tournaments are designed to maximize matches by weight class with all wrestlers getting 5 matches the weight class is full.

No. The internet connection is only needed to download the data when you start and upload the final results whem you finish.
However; if the internet connection is stable, brackets, complete results, and a backup will be uploaded to the server every five minutes.

The program will run in the browser's cache until the internet connection is restored.
Do not shut the computer off! Use Manage Data | Backup/Save on a regular basis.

A 16-Man double-elimination bracket can be completed with no adjustments. A 32-man double-elimination bracket with 24 or less wrestlers can be completed in one day using a modified consolation bracket.
For pool tournaments a 4 Pools of 5 option was added for weight classes with 17 to 20 wrestlers. All other pool fomats are limited to 5 matches

The pool formats are limted to a maximum of 5 matches in one day unless the MAX number slider is changed to 20.
Four pools of 5 will be created for wieght classes with 17 to 20 wrestlers. Note: It will require seven rounds of wrestling.
Make sure your facility, schedule, and officials can accomodate the extra wrestling!

Use Managers | Wrestling | Data Downloads | On the yellow Seed Nomination Options section, select List All Wrestlers In Weight Class and Preview or Download Seed Nominations.
The extras will be listed at the bottom. Determine your priority for eliminating extras. Better records, upper classmen, or whatever is appropriate?
